In the 1960s Andrew studied an IMI qualification whilst on an apprenticeship at a Vauxhall dealership in Leeds. Andrew took his exams and shortly became an associate of the IMI where he then worked his way up to become a member of the IMI and finally a fellow around 20 years ago. Andrew worked his way up in the industry working for various companies including VW UK where he was an area operations manager on the Skoda brand. He also played various roles through his career including a service advisor, a manager, a general manager and also spent around 20 years of his career as a jaguar dealer principle.
Andrew Retired 2 years ago and 3 years before this, he was a dealer principle of DM Keith Skoda in Leeds. Andrew was tired of retirement and decided to work again and do some voluntary work. He currently does voluntary work for young people to help them get into work and to better their life sills for the work place. He also voluntarily helps small businesses with finances in Yorkshire and works part time for DM Keith Skoda in Yorkshire as a supporting dealer principle. They are the largest Skoda retailer in the UK.
